Bound by Bond was a high end, hand crafted, fashion company specializing in corsetry and historical dress. The designer wanted a logo that would match to other brands like Louis Viton, Prada, and Yves Saint Laurent. As the designers name was Jennifer Bond, she wanted her name to be incorporated into the logo too. The solution we came up with was to have the two B’s beside each other with the letter J subtly placed in between. To add balance, and drive home the point that items in the brand were handmade, a sewing needle was pushed through the emblem. This also made the logo more distinct in separating it from the legions of many other logos that follow the same backwards letter trope.
Two secondary logo marks were also made: a piece of winding thread that would often be used to underline the logo and three trapezoid shapes stacked beside each other that often would be used to frame various products.

The branding and collateral was designed to feel timeless, artisan, and classy to help match the era that corsets are most known from. For this all colours were done away with and traded into blacks with accents of gold and brass.
